Hi! I am here to listen and help figure out what is going on for you from the bad days to the good days, mental illness, with some psycho education to help develop awareness about how and why we feel, emotional regulation, and everything else in-between! I work with a range of mental illness/diagnosis, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression and trauma. I share the sentiment: you are the expert of your own life; I am here to work alongside you and facilitate and support you while you are on your journey. I specialise in all things eating disorders - whether it is disordered eating to a diagnosed eating disorder; my goal is to learn about you which includes getting to know your eating disorder and the side of you that is reaching out for support!
I understand that seeking counselling and help can be a scary experience! I offer a free in person 20–30-minute appointment to help ease some anxiety when meeting a new counsellor. This introductory session is also a good opportunity to make sure we are a good match/fit – this is important as we work together as a team in therapy! :)
