Dale S. Wright is Gamble Distinguished Professor of Religious Studies and Asian Studies at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Among his publications are What Is Buddhist Enlightenment?, The Six Perfections: Buddhism and the Cultivation of Character, and Philosophical Meditations on Zen Buddhism.
