which are NOT totally obvious to everyone?

Probably yes.

Can something totally obvious to someone become not so.

Yes, people lose their way and forget the basics every day. The fact that records exist for human capabilities proves that we don't continuously improve, that we have upper limits, and that all of us will lose some abilities throughout the course of our lives, even if it's not until death.
That's a fact that isn't IMMEDIATELY OBVIOUS to everyone, especially to younger people who haven't lived long enough to experience a substantial loss of some ability or necessary element to an optimal functional state. If everything was immediately obvious to everyone, we wouldn't even need communication because everyone would know that everyone already knows everything they know.
