I love all of the discussion here. I am a drama teacher that realizes our educational system needs to be changed. Our children are frustrated, angry, and anxious all because of the way adults force them to learn. My comment here compares nature to human life. I noticed, this past Spring, how identical types of trees peak at different intervals. The amazing part is that no one rushed them. So, when it was their appropriate time to bloom, they did so in magnificent proportions! Each just as splendid, and each without pressure. Why can we not see that children peak at different times, in glorious different ways? It would have been a disservice to my Spring viewing if all of the foliage peaked simultaneously. Instead, I was held in wonder ALL Spring.
