The commenter above made some very good points and is clearly pansexual. But the fact that he's pansexual or that other pansexuals exist doesn't mean that other sexual orientations have been 'exploded' and are now irrelevant. Other sexual orientations such as lesbian and gay still need their 'labels' - ie. their own language to articulate their own identities, orientation, lives and politics. And to imply that people who aren't interested in relationships with anyone and everyone are somehow 'threatened' or 'no fun' is precisely the kind of shaming and dismissiveness of other people's sexual orientation I referred to in my previous comment.
