A loving relationship can be an oasis in uncertain times, but nurturing it requires attention, honesty, openness, vulnerability, and gratitude.

I've been in a LD relationship for 15 yrs (by choice!)..and so I know the Pro's & Con's...any relationship can work so long as those involved put forth effort. One of the key things about making a LD relationship work is "being there" as little or as much as the other both wishes & more importantly 'needs' you to be, and then putting forth whatever effort is required (to communicate & 'make it work'). That, and just like in 'in-person' relationships, never letting the other person for even an instant feel less than that they are the only & most special person to you on earth.
