We’ve been hearing this phrase a lot lately. This doesn’t happen that often, historically speaking. One of those moments, 51 years ago now, was when some 500,000 of us gathered on Yasgar’s farm for three days of peace and music. It’s tough to imagine what this world would be like today if it weren’t for that “moment.”
2020 is one of those moments. From the pandemic, to Black Lives Matter, to the Democratic National Convention, to the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington this week, this is our moment to choose the future we want to live in!
The momentum is building. Streets are filling, people are demanding racial justice. The interconnectedness of humanity’s challenges is apparent. This moment calls for focused action leading to deep, systemic change, now, before it is too late.
Today, we see a convergence of forces like never before. As we all join hands across differences, we seek to heal the great divide between the human family. We stand at a threshold never before crossed.
Today, September 1, with the release of Our Moment of Choice: Evolutionary Visions and Hope for the Future, a book containing the visions of 43 evolutionary leaders, we have tools, resources, and a blueprint for transformation to help us build the future we envision. This one remarkable book covers the entire big picture of what is taking place in the world right now.
From the decay of an old, worn out system of hierarchy and separation, a new story is emerging, one of wholeness, equity, and unity. In this new narrative, bridges are being built across boundaries to form a global community and create a culture of peace.
This is a story in which the entire universe is alive and conscious, in which we are stewards of both ecological balance and economic integrity, in which we work with the mind-body-spirit connection to heal ourselves and the planet, in which we use education and research to awaken, elevate, and evolve consciousness, in which we view the entire cosmos as a fully integrated whole, and in which we envision the whole to support sustainability, prosperity, and global transformation.
These are the themes that make up the seven Circles of the book. Together, they are threads of one tapestry, each deeply connected with the other. Some of the leading-edge insights from these chapters are:

A collective vision is unfolding, leading us to our inherent wholeness, to our collective maturity. This is what every single member of the human family is here for now. This is what we hear in the voices of wisdom and reason today, and in the streets today.
This is our Paul Revere “moment,” our “midnight ride” to raise “a voice in the darkness,” to “spread the alarm” throughout the land. “The fate of a nation” rides on all of us heeding this call to action. This is our moment of choice, to unite in purpose, to ensure our collective well-being, to spread respect, compassion, and cooperation. The very nature of the evolution of consciousness gives us an abiding hope for the future.
