J. Roen Chiriboga, Ph.D., and David Rosenberg, M.D.

J. Roen Chiriboga, a Ph.D., is a psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and certified Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor. She currently works as a Wellness and Family Coach. She has mental health experience in multiple settings from elementary schools, hospitals, community clinics, and university settings. Dr. Chiriboga applies a mindful approach and believes that pausing the constriction of outside stress allows a reconnection with our true nature, improves the quality of our experience where personal strengths, goals, and wishes flourish and allow more fulfilling and effective relationships with those around us.

David R. Rosenberg, M.D., is a world-renowned psychiatrist with particular expertise in child and adolescent neuropsychiatry and neuropsychopharmacology. He is currently leading a multi-center, international consortium grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health that is helping change the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His work has been featured multiple times on national media such as the NBC Today Show, ABC 20/20, Good Morning America, CNN, and NPR. Some of his team's discoveries are being used in clinics across the country. He has over 500 scientific publications. He has authored five textbooks including the first textbook in Pediatric Psychopharmacology.

Drs. Chiriboga and Rosenberg have different and complementary perspectives, philosophies, training, and experience. Together, the blog will discuss hot topics in mental health, debatable issues and protocols, the dramatic changes in mental health, and our evolving culture. While the blog will include and often focus on COVID-19 related mental health issues, other important topics will also be discussed.
