As a mum of four young adults and my own life’s struggles, I value and appreciate lifelong learning and continually strive to pursue both personal and professional development. I am extremely passionate about working in the area of mental health, providing an individual experience to my clients whereby, I hope to make a positive difference to the lives of the people that come into my therapy room. I believe that when someone shows courage, strength, and determination to speak about their mental health and life & difficulties, they need to be met where they are at, in a non- judgmental environment and to be given the space and time
The psychotherapeutic approach I use is rooted in evidence-based practices and based on an integrative model of therapy with a focus on Humanistic, Psychoanalytical & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I include some third wave approaches, such as Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
