Working with clients from age twelve upwards, I offer therapy on an individual basis.
I also offer parent mentoring and support sessions, either in conjunction with adolescent therapy or as a separate support just for parents.
I am trauma-informed and have particular experience with, and interest in, working with clients with ADHD, bereavement and pregnancy loss.
Coming from a background in education, I have extensive experience working with teenagers and their parents in managing school-related anxiety, as well as guidance in exploring alternative educational routes. I am also certified in CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality), CAMS4Teens and NVR (Non-Violent Resistance).
I incorporate differing therapies and modalities into my work, depending on the client’s needs and interests, such as Sand Tray Therapy, Psychosynthesis, CBT, SFBT and Motivational Interviewing. The selection of which therapies are most appropriate, and at which points in the therapy, is decided upon in consultation with the client.
