About
As a therapist my aim is to provide a safe, welcoming and confidential space in which we can work together to explore the reasons you have come to counselling. Those reasons vary from person to person and may include, anxiety, grief, loss, stress, depression, relationship issues, difficulty with trust, trauma, low self-esteem or coping with change in an increasingly changing world. Together, we can explore these issues and learn to break free of limiting patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back and take steps to move forward in life with greater ease and peace.
. I work with various psychotherapeutic approaches including person- centred, CBT and psychodynamic, depending on the individual needs of the client. Taking a holistic approach to well-being, elements of energy healing, creative approaches, family constellation work and mindfulness may also be incorporated when appropriate.
I am not here to give you answers or solutions, but rather, to help you come to know, trust and believe in yourself and in your capacity to connect to the innate wisdom that lies within you. We will draw on your strengths and talents and help you develop strategies that you can use on a daily basis to help bring more ease, peace and joy into your life.
