I came to this profession after experiencing first-hand the power of psychotherapy to help a person become more at peace, have more successful relationships and lead a happier life. I believe that the first step in helping a client is to create a safe and confidential space where they can share their troubles. I practice integrative psychotherapy - this means that I have been trained in a range of different psychotherapy approaches, and for each client I draw from these different methodologies to meet their individual needs. I work with adult men and women of all ages, and from all backgrounds.
My clients bring a wide range of issues to me. For example, some may be suffering the pain from losing a loved one, others struggling in a difficult or abusive relationship in the home or workplace, or struggling with the aftermath of addiction. Many clients come for help with managing the effects in adulthood of a difficult childhood.
