Source Counselling & Psychotherapy is founded on the belief that within you is a source of happiness, inner strength and resiliency that can enable you to deal with the pressures and struggles life can present. It is from these many sources that greater understanding of who you are emerges, a key factor in finding ways to deal with issues and problems you experience. Exploring your issues can provide you with a deeper awareness and understanding of the cause of these problems - the source. Knowing the source of a problem is only part of the work.
“One size does not fit all” - I use an integrative and person centered approach, tailoring the therapy to the needs of each individual. I have experience working with a broad range of needs and issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress and anger.
"Something inside so strong" - I have a keen interest in resilience and the ability to overcome adversity. Resilience does not imply that you do not fall or suffer. It is the ability to get back up and learn from the experience, as difficult as that can be. Resilience is an integral part of the therapeutic process.
