I offer online individual psychotherapy (talking therapy) for adults. I specialise in working with diagnosed/self-identified Autistic and AuDHD adults. I offer a neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy.​ This approach respects client’s communication styles and sensory needs and promotes a positive neurodivergent identity. Being Autistic/AuDHD is a neurotype, not a mental health condition. Unfortunately, however, because neurodiverse people live in a neurotypical world which is not set up for them, many people suffer with co-occurring mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression.
At Reflective Insights I offer a safe, compassionate space, where clients can explore any challenges/difficulties they are facing e.g. autistic burnout, bullying, low self esteem. In therapy I help my clients to identify, and navigate the difficulties they are experiencing and I support them in finding a way forward, please see website.
In therapy, clients are encouraged to use sensory toys (fidget toys, spinners). Eye contact is not necessary. Stimming is encouraged. Time can be factored in for movement breaks etc. Communication preferences are taken into account and adaptions made.
