Having genes for a mental illness is less than half of the story. Exposure to traumas is the essential other part that causes a disturbance in transmitters and hormones in the body. My clients contact me when they are looking for help for reducing psychiatric medications or before taking them. My experience and training involves helping a client process their traumas to heal them emotionally and with food supplements following Walsh protocol. In this format, food supplements are prescribed instead of psychotropic medications that participate in hormonal and neurotransmitter metabolism. I can speak English, Hindi/ Urdu and Punjabi.
My work involves offering complementary services to traditional mental health services. Instead of talk therapy I offer therapy with imagery and meditation techniques. Blood and urine tests are also advised when needed, following which appropriate food supplements are prescribed in particular dosages. I am trained in Walsh method of Functional Medicine,
If anyone you know has been looking for non-drug approach to mental illnesses, they can contact me. Many doctors in the area of mind-body-medicine believe that the one single cause of most physical and mental illnesses is Unresolved Emotional Trauma. It can be treated with release of emotional tension and changing the body's nutritional status. We do both.
