I’m an Associate Fellow and Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (memb. no. 087638). I am also an Associate Fellow and Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (memb. no M4479C). With both the British Psychological Society and the Irish Psychological Society I am a Senior Practitioner on both their ‘Registers of Psychologists Specialising in Psychotherapy’. Following Chartered status I continued with further professional development and obtained Registration as Psychotherapist both in the UK and in Ireland, that is, with The Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP), The Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP memb. no. 577), The UKCP (memb. no. 4156466) & The UKAHPP (memb. no. 148).
In a career spanning thirty plus years I’ve qualified in three distinct professional capacities. For several years I worked in London both as a Social Worker (re. Hospitals & Community) and as a Psychologist (re. the NHS). Since returning to Ireland twenty plus years ago I have worked in private practice solely specialising in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
