Hi, I'm Paula Marin, I am a clinical psychologist with over 20 years experience in providing clinical support for children and adults facing emotional challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, etc.
Meeting with a psychologist offers you an unique opportunity to express what may be difficult to put into words - together, we work towards alleviating this distress.
I also provide clinical support for adolescents, supporting them through identity-related conflicts and transitional challenges, and work closely with parents to help them better understand and support their child.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Sorbonne University of Paris. I provide therapy in English, French and Portuguese. I am most inspired by psychoanalytical theory, in a flexible and integrative basis. This framework allows us to explore your experiences within a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space.
During the sessions, you may be encouraged to reflect on the roots of your suffering and exercise self-knowledge in a gentle way.
