I'm an accredited ICP Psychotherapist with over 10 years clinical experience. I work with both adults and adolescents and provide a type of listening that is singular to each person. I have particular interest and experience with working with people experiencing mental anguish including those who struggle with ruminating, obsessive and intrusive thoughts, anxiety and depression. I'm experienced with working with different psychiatric diagnoses. Speaking about how we think and experience life creates an insight and questioning. My clinical experience includes hospitals (both psychiatric and maternity), and a prison where I worked as an addiction counsellor. I have worked in psychotherapy clinics for the last 10 years, where I have worked with people of different ages and backgrounds, with different types of sufferings and reasons for attending therapy.
Coming to speak , however daunting is opening yourself up to a new way of looking at how you are experiencing life. It can be the first time you are really heard by someone who wants to hear something of who you are and what you want.
