Life can feel like a rollercoaster at times. Talking to someone can help you make sense of what is going on for you. Slowly you can start to put these negative thoughts and feelings into perspective. We will explore these thoughts and feelings. This allows you to understand why you feel the way you do and it begins the process of change. I support people through a wide range of issues including: stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family issues, loss, bereavement, sexual identity, gender issues, LGBTQI, alcohol and substance abuse, compulsive behaviours, motivation, self-esteem and self-confidence.
I work within a relational model, and offer clients a confidential and secure space in which they can explore their own issues. My approach is client-led, grounded in the belief that the client has an innate capacity for healing and growth. I work to establish a stable and collaborative therapeutic relationship in which the client can flourish.
My process is non-judgemental, sensitive, and understanding. I know that starting therapy can be very intimidating. My intention is to make sure that you feel as comfortable as possible, and that we work together at a pace that suits you. Life can be difficult sometimes. You deserve to be happy and feel ok.
