My name is Olive, and I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I believe Counselling / Psychotherapy is a very empowering journey to discover our True Self. We can be very self-critical with ourselves, through negative self-talk, guilt and criticism. My goal is to help my client work through their issues, and reach a place of self-acceptance, and contentment. My Therapeutic Approach is adapted to each individual person, as everyone has different life experiences, and reacts differently to life’s events. I work with what best suits the person in front of me, and their presenting issues.
My counselling style is integrative, using different therapies, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy. I am also interested in Somatic work, Trauma work and Mindfulness. I'm available for appointments in Mallow and I also offer online appointments.
I offer a safe space, where we can work through concerns, and look deeper into our thoughts and emotions. Through self-awareness and self-empowerment, we can learn to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. While I can’t make the journey for you, I can walk alongside you, and support you as you make changes, and move towards your True Self.
