Hello! I’m Oisín, a counsellor/psychotherapist based in Dublin. There are innumerable reasons someone may want to start their therapy journey. I work with people who are experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and more, not only to help them manage their condition but also to support them as they learn to feel the joy in life again. To find their life direction, to move towards something that feels meaningful and purposeful to them.
I work in a Humanistic Integrative style, which means I draw from different theories (including Person-Centred, CBT, Psychodynamics and more) collaborating with you, the client, to find what works best for you. I've come to trust each individual's inherent wisdom, and would love to support you as you build your resources and take steps towards betterment.
From personal experience, I know that beginning therapy can be daunting. I hope when we meet that you’ll feel welcomed into a warm, confidential environment where you’ll feel understood and explore whatever you need to explore, free of judgment. I am based at Mind and Body Works on Wicklow Street in Dublin and also offer online sessions on Thursday mornings.
