I am a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist who feels privileged to work in the area of mental health. I understands the courage it takes in deciding to take that initial step to come to therapy and appreciate the time it takes to build a safe, warm, and trusting therapeutic space. I work collaboratively in a gentle and empathic way, creating a secure, safe holding environment so that the therapy can unfold at a pace that is manageable and healing for my clients. I completed a MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy from The Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre & was awarded a distinction Masters Degree from Northampton University.
I work with adults of all ages with a variety of presenting issues. Mood disorders, emotional dysregulation and Eating Disorders are areas I am particularly interested in. I also have experience of working with ADHD and long term illness.
The client will always be at the centre of the work and my role will always be to assist the client in finding their own way back to contentment. I work therapeutically to empower my clients so that they can thrive outside of the therapy room.
