As a neurodivergent therapist, I draw on lived experience alongside professional skills to support autistic and otherwise neurodivergent adults in working towards their own goals. Exploring who you really are, and identifying what you need in order to feel safe can be a difficult process to navigate alone. This is especially true when our surrounding environments do not always accommodate unique ways of sensing, processing, communicating, and being in the world.
I am particularly passionate about helping late-identified neurodivergent adults process their experiences through the lens of a new diagnosis or discovery. Being validated and understood at this stage can be really important, and I offer a neurodivergent-affirming space where this post-diagnostic exploration is genuinely welcomed and supported.
If you’re feeling unsure or worried about any aspect of starting therapy, you’re very welcome to email me. I’m happy to answer any questions. I’ve also created a free Therapy Survival Guide for people coming to therapy for the first time, available on my website. Beginning therapy doesn’t have to feel so overwhelming when you know what to expect.
