Are you neurodivergent, queer, and carrying around a funny feeling post-traumatic stress may be impacting you more than you thought? I'm Melanie, and the intersection of those three are my specialty. With a mixture of person-centred therapy (nonjudgmental listening / professional understanding), coaching psychology (sharing neurodivergent context and resources), and trauma reprocessing therapy, I offer a suite of tools that might just fit the bill. I specialise in the struggles that queer and neurodivergent people (particularly ADHDers and autistics) face. I work through a disability-justice focused lens with an understanding of the systemic context and a critical eye of the historic failings of psychology. Additionally, I work with complex trauma and post-traumatic stress through Brainspotting.
Searching for a therapist can be a slow process and not the most straightforward. I do my best to make my side of it quick by responding within 48 hours to let you know what my availability is.
