My clients want to increase their strength and resilience in the face of difficult times. They want to learn how to best manage in the face of adversity, and challenge their own blocks. They can be from any walk of life or any orientation.They've reached a point where they feel that they need support and a safe non judgemental space to explore both their own selves and their lives. They may be struggling with their identity for some reason : Adoption, identity issues, bereavement & loss, they have family difficulties, and are commited to positive a change.
I offer a safe, non judgemental, and comfidential space to talk about any issues great or small. I bring aspects of Life Coaching to my work and integrate CBT. I have a special interest in Adoption issues, family dynamics, and personal development. I include journalling, art and dream work if useful, to complement our work together.
It can be scary to take the first step to book an appointment with a Counsellor. We may feel alone with our problems and fear we might be judged or reprimanded. I say, come for one session and see how we get on. I have many years experience working in Mental Health and in the Arts, and understand how difficult it can be to take the first step.
