My name is Mary and I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist working from my practice in Midleton, Co. Cork. I have a B.A (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from MTU. I am a fully accredited member of IACP and I abide by their code of ethics in my work with my clients. I understand that our lives can be challenging and we may struggle with difficult issues at different stages in our lives. It can be daunting to reach out for support when you may be feeling anxious or depressed.
I aim to provide a safe and confidential space in my practice where I offer an empathic, non-judgemental and compassionate approach. I believe a good therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and change. I trust that my clients have the ability to resolve their issues and concerns given the right support and encouragement.
My objective is to facilitate my clients on their therapeutic journey of self-discovery and healing, and to gain an understanding around their individual needs and challenges. I work as a humanistic and integrative psychotherapist who draws from several therapeutic approaches to suit the individual needs of my clients.
