I work with adults and adolescents aged 12–25, offering a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to explore the challenges they may be experiencing. I also provide one-to-one consultations for parents of teenagers, offering guidance and support around understanding and responding to their teens' emotional and behavioural difficulties.
In my work with adults, I have a particular interest in supporting parents during the postpartum and early parenting stages. This can be an incredibly demanding time, and I offer a space for parents to focus on themselves, process difficult experiences and find ways to move forward.
Where appropriate, I incorporate creative approaches into my work, using materials such as sand tray, artwork and music. These can offer different ways of exploring thoughts, feelings and experiences, and can help you look at things from a new perspective and begin to reframe your experiences.
I work from a person-centred perspective, which means I place the individual at the heart of the therapeutic process. I believe that feeling genuinely heard, understood and accepted can create the space needed to explore difficulties, develop greater self-awareness and find a way forward.
