Hi there! I provide therapy for adults and adolescents (12 upwards). I hold an MA in Counselling and an MSc in Adolescent Psychotherapy. I am an accredited member of the BACP & the IACP. I also provide parental support and guidance. I work from a Gestalt framework, meaning that I'll help you to gain perspective on what's going on for you. That way you can understand yourself a little more which will help you to manage your symptoms. If you would like to feel less anxious, talk to someone about your mood or need help with self harm or suicidal thoughts, I would be happy to help you.
I use creative materials (like sand tray, artwork, music) to make the work more interesting and help you see things differently. This can help re-frame your experience. I use a lot of self compassion practice in my work and I like to encorporate grounding techniques to help you manage your symptoms outside of sessions.
I believe that adolescence is a difficult developmental period that often gets overlooked. My role is to help you navigate this tricky time and help your parents do the same! I have worked with adolescents for almost ten years and I really enjoy the work that I do. Put simply, I provide a space for you to talk a lot, learn a little and grow along the way.
