Hi, my name is Marty and I am a Psychotherapist and Counsellor, accredited with IACP, based in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental service in a quiet and secure space where we can explore, understand and work towards resolving issues which may be affecting you or preventing you from enjoying a more fulfilled and enriching life.
I work in an integrative way, meaning that we adapt to your particular needs as everybody is unique and has their own way of resolving and understanding difficulties. Some of these models include Person Centred, CBT, Solution Based Therapy and Brief therapy. Depending on issues presented, we would draw on these and others to work together.
I also believe strongly in the mind/body connection, meaning a healthy body helps a healthy mind and vice versa, meaning we would incorporate possible lifestyle changes into our discussions also.
