When clients contact me to discuss the possibility of engaging in therapy, I offer an opportunity to outline their presenting issue and an opportunity to form an impression on me as a potential psychotherapist during a free 15 min consultation.
When therapy begins, initial focus is on stabilising and resourcing clients, while also building relationship and providing a safe therapeutic space. Therapy is a collaborative process.

I work really well with adults and adolescents. I have 9 years experience in Pieta House where I worked with clients who were 12 years and over who were bereaved by suicide, self harming or experiencing suicidal ideation. I also have 2.5 years experience working with adoption related issues.
I encourage clients to commit to 6 sessions and then hold a review

I offer a safe space for clients to engage with and process the life difficulties that brought them to therapy. Treatment is collaborative and is based on my client’s expressed need. This may be helping to change behaviours, thoughts and emotions.
