About
Taking the first step in deciding to attend therapy is often the hardest part, it can be difficult to admit to ourselves that we may need the intervention of another to assist us on this journey. Coming to speak allows an individual to be heard in way that is specific to them, a singular , and not to fit the specifics of ticking the boxes. Speaking about your way of experiencing life and it's difficulties and challenges, can free up a person and allow them to look through a different lens.
Psychoanalysis is a very specialised way of working with people. It involves listening in a very particular way to what is being said and allowing them the time and space to work through what they need to. It works by addressing the core issues such as repetition compulsion, doing the same thing over and over again, the drives that keep us stuck
Coming to speak in a non judgemental, safe space, where you will be heard , with no preconceptions over a period of time, can allow whatever needs to emerge in your own time. It is a non directive therapy which produces long lasting changes
