As an Integrative therapist, I aim to adapt my approach to suit my client’s individual needs, preferences and goals for therapy. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding and compassion for the whole person, mind, body and spirit. Clients experience an environment of safety and confidentiality, where they can explore their life experience and challenges that are distressing them with acceptance, non-judgement and respect. I offer sessions to both adults and teens 16 +.
Whilst a little anxiety motivates us to get things done, when it begins to take over our every thought, it can be overwhelming. Becoming aware of what is actually happening within and developing new skills to cope is an excellent starting point. Coming to understand ourselves and explore our core beliefs, helpful and limiting ones can bring about growth.
I value the creation of a genuine therapeutic relationship, which becomes the foundation for the you to feel safe, secure and heard. When you feel truly heard and understood it enables you to make sense of your difficulties and discover new ways of coping, develop self-awareness or a way forward. Being heard is the beginning you deserve!
