Many people come to talk because they are feeling anxious, overtired, stressed. It is often thought that only people with really serious diagnosed illnesses benefit from psychotherapy, they do and I have many clients like that, however therapy is really useful for stressful times as well as diagnosed illnesses.
I work with young adults and adults to eliminate symptoms such as panic attacks, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, disordered eating, bullying and many other life curtailing problems. I understand everyone is an individual and refrain from labelling them, rather I prefer that they explain to me what the issues they are dealing with feel like.
I work in Dun Laoghaire in Lumina Psychotherapy, here we have created a professional friendly and modern clinic especially as a psychotherapy practice. I have many years experience (10+) working in this area, with GP's, lecturing in various universities and supervising, in Lumina therapy is offered in a professional, confidential, secure enviroment.
