Therapy provides a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors; whether you are in crisis, needing support, or you want to make changes in your life. Here you will be met with acceptance, empathy and compassion as you begin your unique journey. I view each client as an individual and believe if given the appropriate conditions, the client will develop an awareness and insight into themselves to help overcome their challenges. I work relationally and collaboratively with the client. Research identifies the best outcome for the client centres on the therapeutic relationship.
I use a trauma-informed approach combining elements of person-centred theory, transactional analysis, gestalt, attachment theory, developmental theories and cognitive behavior therapy. I work with relationship issues, codependency, abuse, trauma,anxiety, dysregulation, depression, bereavement as well as general counselling and psychotherapy.
I have been in practice for seven years and have over twelve years experience working with and supporting families. My practice offers an open and respectful space to explore your challenges, working together, to build a supporting environment and to develop self awareness and resilience in your healing journey. I work with both couples and individuals.
