It is a privilege as a counsellor/psychotherapist to provide a safe environment for clients to work through a wide range of issues that effect their emotional, psychological, & social wellbeing. I'm passionate about this work as I have seen the huge, positive impact this can have on a person's life. I have a particular interest in working with men who often hide their emotions & can be hesitant to reach out for help. Working with families who are caring for loved ones with dementia is also a special interest, this can be a very isolating and lonely experience. A listening ear can be a comfort to clients embarking on this journey.
I offer clients a safe space to feel comfort & freedom to speak from their hearts about what is troubling them and holding them back in life. Sometimes all we need is a listening ear in a non-judgmental & confidential environment. I provide this for my clients while developing a trusting relationship, opening a door to a profound therapeutic journey .
I am passionate about my work & seeing clients gain confidence & a different perspective on life over time in therapy makes it all worth while . Regardless of what a client is carrying the sense of relief when they feel the freedom to be themselves in the therapy room is palpable.
