Sometimes in life we experience overwhelming times where we feel unseen, unheard or misunderstood. In this place we can feel depression, anxiety, grief, loss, isolation and have a sense that we are disconnected from our true selves. Coming to therapy can feel dauting and so I offer a safe confidential space where one can explore their presenting issues through the lens of their internal and external worlds, identifing their needs and goals. We gently challenge established thoughts and behaviours as we move through a journey of self discovery, awareness, and acceptance in a warm, empathic, supportive & non-judgemental environment.
As a humanistic psychotherapist, my practice is based on an integrative, developmental and relational approach. I combine varied theoretical models which I tailor specifically to meet my clients’ needs. These models include Person-Centered, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems (IFS informed) and Mindfulness while always prioritising the theraputic relationship.
I feel priviledged to witness the courageous strength of my clients as they increase in self awareness and confidence. It is rewarding to be in their presence as they become empowered and realise their own capability to find solutions to problems, developing enhanced coping skills.
