Hi, I'm Laura. As a Children's Therapist, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to explore and express their emotions. I understand that verbalising feelings can be challenging for children, especially at a young age, which is why I utilize various techniques, such as art, play, storytelling, puppets, games and sand, to facilitate their self-expression in a child-friendly manner. This approach allows for a deeper understanding of their experiences, assists in processing difficult emotions and facilitates growth and healing.
My experience includes working with children with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, attachment issues and childhood trauma. I offer individual and group sessions.
Working with you as a parent/caregiver is an integral part of my therapeutic approach. You possess unique insights and experiences regarding your child that can greatly contribute to the therapeutic process.
