Starting counselling can feel like a big step, but it’s one that shows strength and a desire for positive change. I work by offering a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where we can explore the areas of your life that are causing difficulties. I have experience of helping clients with anxiety, depression, burnout, anger, trauma, abuse, grief, suicidal ideation, self esteem, relationship issues, neurodivergent and autistic clients. My background as a fully accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, counselling trainer, intellectual disability nurse, and fine artist informs my creative and holistic approach to therapy.
I believe healing happens when pain, distress, and trauma are witnessed and validated in a warm and compassionate relationship. Together we will focus on finding the best ways to help you heal, grow and move forwards.
Therapy is often about healing wounds and resolving the past, but it can also be a journey of reclaiming joy, creativity, and spontenaity. My goal is to help you take charge of your life, realise your potential, and find meaning and connection. I will support you through your challenges while offering hope that change is possible.
