I work with adults and adolescents, in person and over the phone / online. Over the past number of years, I have worked with people of various nationalities, sexual orientations, clinical diagnoses and levels of needs, who wished to alleviate their suffering and gain a better understanding of themselves and their role in life. I conduct the sessions in English, Latvian and Russian.
By having the space to speak without judgement, you can free yourself from your burdens and anxieties. Attending therapy will enable you to better understand yourself, your desires and the world around you. Having a dedicated time to think and speak about your subjective experiences allows for the development of new insights of those experiences and oneself.
Coming to speak can be daunting for many, yet it gives you the opportunity to be fully heard by someone, perhaps for the first time. I practice a type of listening that is individual to each person as opposed to one size fits all model. I have worked clinically in a hospital, suicide prevention organization, homeless sector and therapy clinics.
