Are you feeling stressed, anxious or have low mood? Emotions all over the place? Difficulty sleeping or concentrating? It helps to talk to someone outside your immediate family who will not judge. Therapy can be a healthy way to explore emotions and feelings, you can get a different perspective on the situation, work on your coping skills and strengthen your boundaries. You can disclose whatever you feel comfortable with, at your own pace, in a safe private and confidential space.
Each person is unique and has different goals and needs. Your session will be tailored to offer the best therapeutic approach. I work with all ages. With children I use play therapy techniques and sandplay as appropriate to help them explore, verbalize and express their feelings and emotions.
My experience includes working within health service in Counselling in Primary care, and a Self Harm/Suicide intervention programme since 2006. No problem is too big or too small.
