I really believe in the power of therapy as a way to evoke meaningful change; whether its from ongoing struggles, self -limiting beliefs, harmful behaviours or painful cycles in relationships. My approach to therapy is from a contemporary, integrative and compassion-focused perspective. The therapeutic relationship between client and therapist can help facilitate personal growth, the healing of wounds and acceptance of self. Its my aim to help you feel safe to creatively explore options, find out what you may need, and give you support during challenging times.
I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist meaning, I work using different modalities to suit the needs of each client. Every person has a unique story which shapes them and therapy can be a safe and trusting environment to explore the self. With compassion focused tools and understanding of attachment I work collaboratively with each client.
It can be exhausting trying to cope carrying the weight of feelings which are often locked up inside. There are times in our lives when we just need extra support. Through curiosity, kindness and empathy, the process of therapy can be structured support, where you can begin to understand and unpack, with added hope and meaning making throughout the journey.
