In therapy, I feel it is important for us to be able to say what we may feel unable to say to someone in the outside world. The therapy room offers you a place to be listened to without judgement. When we are given the space to talk about and explore our feelings clarity emerges. We all have a story to tell, and in this busy high tech world, feelings of loneliness and not being listened to are on the increase. To talk to someone who is not a friend or family member can be easier and more useful. Clients often tell me that they do not want to burden their loved ones with their problems.
I have been seeing clients since 2006, and at this stage in my therapeutic career I feel that I have gained experience of working with a vast range of issues and problems. I offer a safe space where you will be shown warmth and acceptance, any problem is relevant, there is no barometer when it comes to seeking help.
I am happy to work on a one to one basis with all individuals, both men and women. I urge you to give therapy a try if you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or unhappy. I offer sessions both in person and online via Zoom. I am also a qualified supervisor, accredited with IACP.
