I specialise in working with people who experience a great deal of anxiety in their lives. This includes people with OCD, panic, generalised anxiety, and social anxiety. I also enjoy working with people who have difficulty with their relationship to their body (body image) and eating. The people I work with tend to feel their emotions quite intensely, and to care deeply about the world around them. My work with clients strives to create a compassionate space where they can find calm and a gentler way to relate to themselves.
I combine evidence-based psychological therapies with understanding and empathy. In collaboration with each person, we build a comprehensive understanding of the difficulties they are dealing with. We then work together to relieve their distress, and build a life that more aligns with their values.
Contacting someone you don't know can be nerve-wracking sometimes - it's human. I enjoy speaking with new clients, hearing what is going on for them at the moment and how we might be able to work together. New clients are more than welcome to get in touch.
