Perhaps you've reached a point where talking to friends isn't enough. People often seek therapy when familiar ways of coping no longer work. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, identity, sexuality or recurring patterns that leave you feeling stuck. I work with adults from a range of different backgrounds. Many of my clients feel a need to share experiences they’ve never spoken about, because of a perception of shame or stigma. We will work together to understand what's happening and how your experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself, others and the world around you.
Therapy isn't simply about feeling better or reducing symptoms, it's about relating to yourself differently. I am here to listen to all concerns. I offer an approach that balances compassion with thoughtful challenge to help you improve your self-understanding, develop greater emotional resilience, strengthen meaningful choice and build lasting change.
You don't have to know exactly what's wrong or how to explain it. If issues no longer feel manageable, or you've been carrying experiences you've kept hidden, you don't have to face them alone. Whatever brings you to therapy, you deserve to be met with respect rather than judgement. When you're ready to talk, I'll be there to listen and support you.
