I am a fully qualified and accredited Clinical Psychotherapist. I work with individuals, couples, children & adolescents and families. I have been in private practice in County Wicklow since 2008. In addition to my BSc Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I hold Post Graduate qualifications in Trauma and Sexual violence, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Sexual Addiction and Dysfunction, Art Therapy, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Family Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I also hold a Professional qualification in the Therapeutic use of Mindfulness. I have completed all 3 Levels of Clinical Training with the Gottman Method
I completed a full post grad qualification in 2022 with Dr. Tammy Nelson in the U.S in Sex Therapy.
I have followed additional training in Court reporting for Expert Witness work, Psychotherapy and Neuroplasticity, Panic Attacks, Attachment, Suicide Risk Assessment, Sand Play Therapy, Grief and Loss, Life Span Development, Personality Disorders.
Additional studies include, Management of Psychosis and Schizophrenia in Psychotherapy, Abnormal Psychology, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Anger Management, Relationship Issues, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing and Eating Disorders.
