Life is not always smooth and can present us with situations, some more difficult than others. Some of these situations can be sorted with the help of friends and family and others may need the help of a professional. As a therapist it is my belief that all clients are individual and so my service will be tailored to the individual needs of each client. My work is to help the clients better understand what their needs are and assist in the changes the client wants to make in order to meet these needs. Counselling is a collaborative process where I will assist each client to set goals and work with them in order to achieve these.
I work using an integrative approach and concentrate on a person centered style to help all clients feel accepted and welcome to counselling. I work with clients with any issue that is having a negative effect on their life. Some of these issues are anxiety, depression, addiction but this is not a definitive list of issues.
I can offer a safe place for clients to talk in confidence and be heard. All clients will be accepted where they are right now and offered a place to explore their individual issues in a warm and comfortable environment.
