While my approach is informed by humanist theories, I do not let these theories limit or define my work. I strive to meet clients where they are in their lives and understand their future aspirations. This understanding helps me tailor my therapeutic approach to best suit each individual. I make it a point to regularly check in with clients to ensure the path we're on is effective and aligned with their needs.
During my practice, I've engaged with clients facing a variety of challenges. This includes working through past or current traumas, depressive states, grief, a range of anxious states, suicidal thoughts, and both planned and unplanned life changes. I have also helped individuals dealing with dependency issues and navigating life post-addiction
My core philosophy is to assist the person as they are, not as a problem to be solved. I believe in the impermanence of life's challenges and the importance of finding humor in life's absurdities. This perspective can be especially beneficial for those dealing with anxiety or depression.
