I am a Counselling Psychologist who works from a place of curiosity and care for my clients. My main focus is on helping you get to know your own mind, the role your emotions play, and the influence of past experiences. Relationships are often at the heart of this exploration and so I also work with couples and families. Through commiting to this work, I hope you will begin feeling lighter, more resilient, and optimistic about your future.
I am a senior team member at Diverse Minds Practice specialising in neurodivergent assessments and therapy across the lifespan. I have also worked in HSE primary care and adult mental health services, the National Counselling Service for adult survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, and within student counselling services.
The mainly work psychodynamically, and I also draw on Mentalisation Based Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Person Centred Therapy. Where more skills-based work is needed, I use methods from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
