Hi, I’m Helen, and I am an accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I work in a person centred and integrative way. This means I will assist you in realising what resources and tools you may use to support yourself as you work through your issues. I engage a number of different therapeutic approaches. I understand that each person is the expert of their own lives, as no one knows what it is like to be you and adapt each session to meet the needs of the individual and what works for them.
I provide a relaxed safe space where you can feel free to discuss and explore your thoughts and feelings and whatever emerges during a session, without judgement. My aim is to support each client in building a stronger feeling of well-being and sense of self.
I have experience helping a diverse range of clients dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-compassion, loss & bereavement, life purpose, relationship & work-related issues, childhood trauma and the impact of emotionally unavailable primary caregivers
