Brendan Keogh – MSc, MIAHIP, Reg ICP Brendan (MIAHIP) is the founder of Healing Minds Counselling & Psychotherapy, based out of Terenure, Dublin 6W Brendan has also been awarded a Masters by UCC for completion of a research project as part of an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. A fully qualified & accredited therapist, Brendan completed his psychotherapy training over four years with Turning Point Institute in Dublin earning their Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy recognized by the IACP, IAHIP & EAP accrediting bodies as a fully accredited training for the practice of Psychotherapy.
As an integrative, client – centred therapist, Brendan uses a wide variety of approaches to meet the individual needs of each client. His work is informed by Humanistic, Psychosynthesis, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, CBT and Transactional Analysis theories. Brendan has spent time volunteering as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor in St. Martha’s Clinic, St. James’
Before completing his psychotherapy training, Brendan had a 15-year career in the building sector where he worked as an electrician, chargehand and estimator as well as working in the IT sector. He has worked in the community with young adults who have lost a parent through separation, divorce or death.
